Don't worry, this isn't turning into a Hockey blog. Yesterday Cole and I met Kevin for an 'unofficial' Hurricanes practice downtown. It was pretty fun to see some of the players again, and also some new faces. Cole was pretty taken when one of those big guys would skate by, right next to the window where we were standing; he'd give them the stare down the rest of the way down the ice. Kevin was chock-full of hockey metaphors for little Cole, and I sincerely hope those die down before our season starts. I'm not quite sure I can sit through 24 games of that...... :)

August 26th: I've finally found the pictures. Check out Cole, he's doing some wierd sniff, and has his nose all scrunched up.
